Plan tiers, deflection limits, and pricing for answerLoops Cloud.
answerLoops Cloud has three plans, priced by how many questions the AI answers for you rather than by seat. This page lists what each plan costs, how many answers it includes, and what happens when you reach the limit, so you can pick a plan before you start a trial.
A deflection is a question the AI answered on its own, without a person stepping in. Every plan includes the full AI pipeline; higher tiers add scale, insight and support.

There is no free tier. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial, described below.
Annual billing saves at least 20%. The annual charges are $468 Standard, $1,428 Pro, and $4,788 Enterprise, paid once per year. The equivalent monthly amounts in the table are not monthly installments.
The pricing page has the full feature comparison and is the one place it is kept up to date. The differences that affect day-to-day use are the deflection allowance above and how the limit behaves.
What counts as a deflection
An automated channel answer counts when it meets the configured confidence threshold without human intervention. High-confidence standalone answers generated through MCP or the Agent API also count. Drafts sent to a human for review do not count.
Allowances reset each calendar month, including on annual subscriptions.
Start with the trial
Every new account starts a 14-day free trial the moment it is created. No card is needed and there is no obligation. The trial includes every feature, with the same access as Enterprise, so you can see the full value before choosing a plan. Included AI usage still applies during the trial.
- A trial is limited to one per person. It cannot be restarted by deleting a workspace, signing up again, or using another spelling of the same email address.
- When the 14 days end, access stops. Your workspace and knowledge base are kept as you left them. Choose a plan and add a card at checkout to carry on; the card is charged when you confirm.
- There is no free tier to drop back to.
Included AI usage
Every hosted plan includes AI usage, so no AI provider key is required: triage, drafting and knowledge-base processing run on answerLoops' own models up to a limit, for the whole 14-day trial and then each calendar month on a paid plan (annual plans included). Answers and knowledge-base processing have separate limits.
A dashboard banner appears at 80% of either. Once you reach one of them, that part of AI pauses until you add your own provider in Settings → AI Model (or, on a paid plan, until the next month starts; the trial's usage doesn't reset). An OpenAI key removes both limits; another provider removes the answers limit, and an OpenAI embedding key removes the knowledge-base one. This doesn't apply to self-hosted deployments. See Billing.
Approaching or hitting your limit
Once an org crosses 80% of its monthly deflection allowance, an in-app warning banner appears on Settings → Billing with a one-click upgrade to the next tier. What happens at the limit depends on the plan's cap.
Self-hosting
The core platform is AGPL-3.0 licensed. Self-hosted deployments have every feature unlocked, no deflection limit, and no billing integration required. See the self-hosting production guide.
